It's not a case here as for the old gen consoles that there are hardware limitations precluding you from implementing certain improvements, it's purely and arbitrarily your own decision to not release the better product at your disposal. If you release a version for a platform then you should give its userbase the best product possible, especially if you ask full price for it.
